9 May 2007 - Win for Remunerate at 2007 Consensus Software Awards

HR software product formally recognised and awarded

Sydney, 9 May, 2007: Evanscorp is proud to announce that Remunerate has been highly praised and subsequently selected as a winner at the Consensus Software Awards earlier this month. There were multiple stages to the award process; a written submission, short-listing and presentation to the judging panel. The judge'’ recommendations and selection of winners culminated in a prestigious gala event attended by The Hon. Gary Nairn, Australian Federal Special Minister for State and key industry figures. Selected from 24 finalists, Remunerate was one of 13 winners on the night.

Developed by Evanscorp Pty Ltd, Remunerate is an advanced software solution for efficiently facilitating and managing the annual salary and incentive compensation review processes for medium to large organisations. Growing from a bespoke development for BHP Billiton, Remunerate fills a niche in the HR software landscape. Remunerate was first brought market in 2004 as Remunerate v3. Following market research and configurability developments, Remunerate v4 was released in 2006.

Remunerate customers typically have in excess of 1,000 employees who receive regular individual reviews. The process is often complicated by having employees spread across geographical regions and / or time zones and potentially paid in varying currencies in different market conditions. The product is highly flexible with usable characteristics that avoid the complexity of manual handling or rigid ERP systems. Remunerate is also easy to integrate into other business systems and provides a rapid return on investment. Existing customers include sizeable Australian blue chips, in addition to a presence in the UK.

Phillip Evans, CEO of Evanscorp, said: "We are delighted to receive this important award primarily because it is a strong acknowledgement from our industry peers, who have recognised our potential and support our continued journey to bring this software to market in Australian and globally."

The judges' citation stated that:

"The annual salary review process can be very complex and time-consuming, and for many organisations, these reviews are inaccurate, late, or both. Mainstream ERP and HR systems offer a limited toolset to assist with salary reviews.

"The judges were impressed with the complexity and flexibility of the Remunerate product. With a short implementation time and intuitive user interface, the potential to rapidly improve the quality and timeliness of an organisation’s salary review process is significant. The reporting and analytic tools in Remunerate provide valuable salary budgeting and control, and compliance reporting.

"The potential for the software to pay for itself in a very short time, gives Remunerate a compelling edge in the marketplace. The judges commend Evanscorp on developing this elegant solution to a much overlooked problem."
