Remunerate has been named one of Australia's 100 most innovative products, according to 1,600 maven judges, in one of the largest and most audacious innovation awards of its kind in Australia - the 'SMART 100' Index.
Remunerate, developed by Evanscorp, an Australian software development company specializing in delivering enterprise grade business solutions, is an employee compensation management solution. It replaces the typical Excel spreadsheet-based remuneration review process with a web-based platform aligned with compensation strategy for managing employee pay reviews.
Remunerate is ideal for adoption in medium to large, national and multi-national organizations with a distributed workforce where employee contracts are in place and staff are reviewed on an individual basis. Indeed, over $3.5 billion of remuneration has been managed with Remunerate over the last two years. Australian users include Ausenco, Lend Lease and Transfield Services.
Phil Evans, Managing Director of Evanscorp, the developers of Remunerate, said, "We are delighted that Remunerate has been recognized in this year's SMART 100 Index with the award testament to the innovation and skills of our Wollongong-based development team. Today, companies are under tight scrutiny from their C-level management to track spend against multiple budgets, drive an efficient and transparent compensation process and provide real-time reporting."
"Remunerate helps organizations comply with these requirements and we look forward to our continued success in ongoing development and marketing of the solution both in Australia and overseas in the years ahead."
The Smart 100 was unveiled at a ceremony on Thursday 9 April, 2009, held at LifeLab, Digital Harbour in the Melbourne Docklands.
Leading business magazine Australian Anthill and market research leader Colmar Brunton joined forces to create the 'Smart 100', Australia's largest and most democratic innovation awards. The Awards process spanned over six months and harnessed the power of 1,600 mavens identified by Colmar Brunton to judge the 861 products entered.
"The SMART 100 aims to bring a greater commercial focus to the concept of innovation, returning ownership of the principles surrounding this important word to the private sector," said James Tuckerman, Founder and Publisher of Anthill Magazine and founder of the 'SMART 100' Index. "Most awards rely on the expertise of a select few. The inaugural 'SMART 100' employed the knowledge and opinions of over 1,600 'maven' judges."
The Smart 100 contains representatives from a broad range of industries, proving that Australia has a diverse and robust talent for innovation. Industries represented include medicine and bio-technology, sport, energy, occupational health and safety, textiles, telecommunications, education, art and the environment.
